Lukas Cerny is graduated of the Conservatory of music in the Czech Republic where he studied bassoon and choral conducting. Mr. Cerny also holds the International General certificate of Education of Music from the University of Cambridge, England. He was associate Choir Master of the renowned children´s choir of Severacek in Liberec, Czech Republic, which toured all over the world, and received many first prizes at the European International Competitions. Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Holland, USA, and with the European Company, Euroopera performed in Monaco, France. Mr. Cerny has served on the faculty at the Queen Noor Al Hussein National Conservatory in Amma, Jordan, and performed with the NMC Symphony with whom he toured throughout the Middle East. In 2001, he moved to Fresno California to serve as Artistic Director for the Central California Children´s Choir. And in 2004, was appointed Chorus Master of the Fresno Grand Opera. In 2008, Lukas presented at the OAKE conference in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Cerny is highly regarded presenter of choral music, clinician as well as music tours guide in the Czech Republic.
